Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State Approves New Appointments

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Ph.D.

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved the appointments of some Chief Executive Officers of some departments and agencies. 

A Press release signed by the Secretary to the Government of the State, SGS, Architect Ahmed Musa ÆŠangiwa, revealed that the appointments of two permanent members for the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, was also approved by the governor. 

Those appointed are as follows:

1. Alh. Kabir Usman Amoga - Executive Director, Katsina State Environmental Protection Agency.
2. Hajiya Binta Musa Abdullahi - Executive Secretary, Katsina State Emergency Management Agency.
3. Eng. Tukur Tingilin - Managing Director, Katsina State Water Board.
4. Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman Abukur - Executive Director, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency.
5. Dr. Nuhu Bala Kankiya - Executive Secretary, Katsina State Agency for the Control of AIDS.
6. Dr. Aliyu Rabiu Kurfi - Executive Director, Katsina State History and Culture Bureau.
7. Prof. Kabir Ibrahim Matazu - Executive Director, Katsina State Science and Technical Education Board.
8. Dr. Aminu Salisu Tsauri - Executive Secretary, Katsina State Scholarship Board.
9. Alh. Kabir Magaji - Chairman, SUBEB. 
10. Dr. Ibrahim Isyaka - Permanent Member 1, SUBEB.
11. Hon. Rabiu Idris - Permanent Member 2, SUBEB.

Ahmed Abdulkadir

Ahmed Tijjani Abdulkadir is a seasoned media executive, journalist, teacher, entrepreneur, and public servant with over 35 years of distinguished experience in broadcasting, media regulation, public communication, and education. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Katsina State Radio and Television Service Board and holds several leadership positions in the private sector. He is the Chairman of Namowa MediaHub and Barau & Namowa Agro-Allied and General Services, as well as the Managing Director of Broadsphere Ventures Limited and Managing Director of FASAB Foods Nigeria Ltd. Mr. Abdulkadir holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Bayero University, Kano, and a Bachelor of Education (Language Arts) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also possesses professional qualifications in journalism and broadcasting from the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) Abuja, NTA Television College Jos, and The Thomson Foundation/British Council, and a Certificate in Digital Journalism (Reuters/Meta Journalism Project).
