INCREDIBLE RELATIONSHIPS

My first and second wives are so coincidentally, incredibly and indirectly inter-related that it's funny.

Let me start from the top:

The erstwhile Emir of Katsina, late Dr. Muhammad Kabir Usman, the father of the current Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, and my late father-in-law (from my first wife), the Village Head of Radda, Barebari Umaru, were first cousins. That makes the current Emir of Katsina my first wife's second cousin. On the other hand, one of the current Emir of Katsina's wives is my second wife's first cousin.

Second, a one time Commissioner in Kaduna State, before Katsina State was created, Alhaji Kabir Matazu,  is my first wife's first cousin (on his mother's side) and a first cousin (on his father's side) to my second wife's father.

Third, the late Magajin Garin (Village Head) Musawa, Abdullahi Inde, father of the erstwhile Customs Boss, Dikko Abdullahi Inde and my first wife's father were cousins. That makes my first wife and Dikko Inde second cousins, while his wife, Dikko Inde's stepmother, is my second wife's first cousin and Dikko Inde's wife is also related to my second wife.

There are several other areas also where the indirect relationship is so intricately interwoven it is a little complicated to understand.

Interesting, isn't it? 😃😃😃
